Youth Exchange “Youth Voices Matter” DAY #1

Today was a dynamic and inspiring first day of the Youth Voices Matter youth exchange! The group of young people from Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Georgia started the day with lively energizers and interactive name-guessing games to get to know each other and build a friendly atmosphere.

Afterwards, participants worked together to create a group contract, setting common rules and values that will guide the week — emphasizing respect, cooperation, and open-mindedness.

The next activity explored the differences between formal, non-formal, and informal education through creative short theatre scenes. Each group brought their own perspective, making the topic both fun and thought-provoking.

In the afternoon, the focus shifted to teamwork and problem-solving. Participants took part in games like “Ghost with the Chairs,” “Mission Impossible,” and the Tower Building Challenge, where communication, trust, and creativity were key to success.

The day ended with a reflection session, allowing everyone to share feelings, highlights, and lessons learned. It was a beautiful moment of cultural exchange, where participants not only reflected on their activities but also on the diversity and unity within the international group.

Overall, the day was filled with energy, collaboration, and intercultural learning, setting a strong foundation for the days ahead.
