The Green Dream project began with the arrival of participants in Kosice. Young people from Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, and Portugal gradually arrived at the venue in Kosice-Barca, where they were welcomed by the organisational team of Youth Initiative Cana – Slovakia.
The first day was mainly dedicated to accommodation, getting familiar with the surroundings, and creating a calm atmosphere before the programme officially started. After travelling, participants had time to rest, explore the venue, and prepare for the following days full of workshops, discussions, visits, and shared activities.
The evening was dedicated to welcoming the participants. The organisers introduced the basic framework of the project, the Erasmus+ programme, the main themes of the exchange, and practical information. Even during the first informal conversations, there was already a sense of curiosity, openness, and willingness to meet new people.
Day 0 was mainly about arriving and getting ready for the week ahead. The first connections were made, the group started to form, and participants entered a project focused on sustainability, cooperation, and active citizenship.
