GREEN DREAM DAY1: Getting to know each other, building a team, and taking the first steps towards common goals

The first full programme day of Green Dream was dedicated to getting to know each other, building the team, and creating a safe space for learning. The day started with breakfast and open space, followed by activities focused on introductions and overcoming the first barriers.

Participants worked with questions about who they are, where they come from, and what they expect from an international youth exchange. Through non-formal activities, they gradually got to know one another, built the first group connections, and learned how to communicate in an international environment.

An important part of the day was identifying learning goals and introducing Youthpass. Participants reflected on what they wanted to take from the project, which skills they wanted to develop, and how they could follow their own learning process throughout the week. The programme also introduced the main objectives of the exchange and the flow of the coming days.

In the afternoon, participants took part in an activity focused on discovering Kosice and strengthening teamwork. They explored the city, completed shared tasks, and learned to cooperate in mixed international groups. The evening was dedicated to Slovak culture during Slovak Night, where participants discovered the traditions, food, and atmosphere of the host country.

The first day laid the foundation for the whole project. The group began to connect, participants felt more confident, and Green Dream fully started.
