GREEN DREAM DAY2: SOSNA Ecocentre and discovering sustainable solutions

The second day of Green Dream focused on practical environmental education. Participants took part in a study visit to the SOSNA Ecocentre in Druzstevna pri Hornade, an organisation dedicated to ecological education, sustainable living, and community work.

During the visit, young people had the opportunity to see concrete examples of solutions that save natural resources and support a more responsible lifestyle. The group discussed water, soil, energy, waste, recycling, and how environmental principles can be applied in everyday life.

After returning, participants joined the activity Kosice Magic, which combined discovering the city with teamwork. They worked in groups, completed tasks, and got to know Kosice better as the place where their exchange was taking place.

Reflection was also an important part of the day. Participants identified the main learning points from the study visit, and the Portuguese group prepared the daily report, capturing the course of the day, the methods used, and the most important moments.

The evening had an intercultural atmosphere. The Portuguese group prepared the Intercultural Night Obrigado!, during which they presented their culture, traditions, and country. The day connected environmental learning, teamwork, and intercultural sharing.
