GREEN DREAM DAY4:Bees, water, and a discussion about the future of the planet

The fourth day of Green Dream brought a very practical and powerful environmental experience. The programme started with the workshop Exploring Bees and Beekeeping, during which participants learned about the importance of bees for nature, agriculture, and human life.

The workshop was connected to the activities of the European Solidarity Corps project Be Like a Bee, implemented in the village of Cana. Participants learned how a bee colony works, why pollinators are irreplaceable, and what we can do to protect them. The practical dimension of the activity helped young people understand that protecting nature is not only about large decisions, but also about local initiatives.

Another topic of the day was the future of the planet, water, and climate change. Participants discussed the importance of water as a natural resource, the consequences of the climate crisis, and how the young generation can contribute to more responsible behaviour.

In the afternoon, the group discussed greenwashing. Participants learned to distinguish between truly sustainable solutions and marketing that only appears to be ecological. In this way, they developed critical thinking and the ability to verify information.

The day ended with reflection groups and a daily report prepared by the Polish group. The evening was dedicated to the Lithuanian intercultural night. The fourth day was one of the strongest days in terms of content, as it combined practical learning, environmental topics, and critical thinking.
